“I believe that only you can heal yourself. My job is to guide you and provide you with the resources you need to accomplish that mission. I want to help walk with you through that process.”
Dr. Stacy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Trinity University in San Antonio, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. After graduation, she decided to specialize in Women’s Health/Pelvic Health. She is board-certified as a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and is a credentialed residency graduate of the nationally accredited Women’s Health Residency Program at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation and Texas Woman’s University.
Dr. Stacy is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, and began her journey towards becoming a physical therapist because she wanted to help other women who experience pain and discomfort find real solutions without feeling alone in their health journey. Her clinic, Sutton Health Advocacy’s greatest mission is to empower women to heal themselves.
As a wife and mother herself, Dr. Stacy has experienced first-hand the many struggles that her patients go through and brings a unique perspective to treatment as both a patient and a clinician. She understands that social and personal stress can add to that burden, and make it feel even more difficult to get the help you might need. That’s why all of her patients receive a holistic approach to their treatment to get them back to the life they want to live.
Her favorite part about being a women’s pelvic health physical therapist is the connections she builds with other women and that she gets to help them get their lives back when they are going through a difficult time.
Dr. Stacy lives in Dallas with her husband and son. They make her world a better and brighter place and she is so fortunate to have them in her life. In her free time, Dr. Stacy loves spending time with her family, eating Mexican food from Pappasitos, solving Jigsaw puzzles, and staying fit and healthy through regular exercise.
